NAM KONG. At about 11.30 hours 4 enemy planes bombed the
Railway and dropped 3 bomba.
1 was dropped at Bridge No. 38
Km. 27.81 the sides of which were slightly damaged, and 1 at
the back of Nam Kong station destroying 13 telegraph poles and
damaging the doors, windows and ceiling of the station building.
SHEKLUNG CHEUNG MUK TOU. Between 13.20 and 13.40 hours
the Railway was again bombed by 8 enemy planes when 23 bombs
were dropped at the following places: 2 at Tung Kung River Bridge, without damage 1 at Em. 60/12, without damage; 1 at Km. 60/13 without damage, 2 at Km. 69/18 damaging 2 rails and 14
sleepers. 1 at Nam Sheh station damaging 1 pair of rail in the loop and all the telegraph wires; 1 at Km. 74/8 without damage;
4 between Km. 85/2 and 85/3 damaging all the telegraph wires; 6
between Km. 88/0 and 88/3 damaging all the telegraph wires; 2 at Ka. 94/14 damaging 1 rail, 1 at Km. 94/15 without damage; 1
at Km. 95/4 without damage; 1 at Km. 95/7 without damage.
Repairs were immediately carried out for trains to pass.
31ST DECEMBER.
NAM SHEH WANG LIK. Between 8.30 and 9.10 hours 9 enemy
planes bombed the Railway. 21 bombs were dropped between Nam
Sheh and Wang Lik stations, damaging 1 pairóf rail and all the
telegraph wires and telephone cable at Km. 76/8.
Repairs were immediately carried out.
TIN TONG WAI. Bätween 15.40 and 16. 30 hours the Railway
was again bombed by 6 enemy planes. 2 bàmbs were dropped between Km. 117/3, and 117/7, 12 between Km. 118/7 and 118/13, and 2
at m. 119/4, but no damage was done to the Railway.
